A plan

We have a plan for the next 18 weeks or so...

There are still a few more tests to be completed and a few we are still waiting for the results to come in from. But this week did give us a lot of data to make plans going forward. 

One large PRAISE: No lymph node are affected!!! This was a huge answer to prayer for me. 

The PET scan was denied so we are going to get a CT scan and a bone scan, these are just to make sure the cancer isn't anywhere else we don't know about. We want these done before Chemo starts and praise God they were approved by the insurance and we got them scheduled for this next week. 

Chemo will start on Thursday, October 17th. We have chemo class on Monday to learn all we can about this journey. Chemo will be 6 rounds every 3 weeks.  I'm obviously a little nervous about the whole process and how my body will handle the treatment. This is a world I didn't expect to have to navigate but we are gathering data and walking by lots of faith. I am surrounded by tons of support and love and now we just walk through the valley.  My chemo bag is getting packed, so I have the things I will need during the 5 hour treatment and J will be with me, his job has been incredible to allow him lots of time to be with me through each appointment.

Prayer requests: 

• That we can all kick these colds that we have had and feel better before Thursday. Our systems have been dealing with a lot and sinus colds have taken hold. 

• I continue to heal from the port surgery, I'm pretty sore! The surgery went well but recovery is always longer than I'd like. 

• Our emotions stay focused on the positive. It's so easy to get down and start to feel completely overwhelmed. I feel like we are fighting a battle every single day! Each one of us deals with this at different times and in different ways but we want to continue to stay positive and show grace to each other.
