Chemo #2 Eve
Tomorrow is Round Two of Chemo.
We had a follow up appointment today with our oncologist and she had great news. She can not feel the tumor - at all!! The first round of chemo did it's job in a big way, now we know who actually did His job, it definitely was God. He has taken incredible care of us and I give Him all the glory, I know I could not do any of this without Him. My natural reaction would have been very different without the hope that I serve a God who loves me and is bigger than anything I face. Hope is a mighty warrior. And my Waymaker is making a way for us to walk through this. It was awesome because I had my Waymaker T-shirt on today in the docs office and saw my doc checking it out.
We are praying that chemo is uneventful and that side effects are as minimal as possible. We still have some sickness in the home and we are praying that will go away and that my boys can start to feel better and get on the other side of this! It's been difficult to not be able to "mommy" them too much as I can't be to close but it's also been an incredible teachable moment to help them know how to take care of themselves through sickness.
My cold cap is doing a great job of helping my hair stay on my head, I really have lost a minimal amount and for that I'm soooo very thankful! Again the oncologist said that it's amazing because at this point I'd have lost it all. So that is a huge PRAISE! And I'm so thankful J got it for me!
Thank you again for all the prayers, encouraging words, text messages and love! You are amazing and we so appreciate you!
I'll let you know how the next couple of days go!
