Round two update

Round Two went off much like the first. No issues to speak of, chair sitting was a little less which was nice. I've met two very nice ladies who are in front of me on the journey but so nice to talk with and learn their stories. I have a great nurse who takes care of me when I go in who I really enjoy. She is funny and keeps me laughing.  I love that J goes with me and is able to work while I'm there. We are so blessed in the flexibility we have!!

So far I'm feeling ok, tired and a few icky feelings but I'm managing them with the meds and resting as much as possible.  We have great people helping and taking care of us. My mom drove me to the doctor yesterday for my after chemo shot, it was great to just chat with her during the car ride and show her around.  Then my brother & sister in law brought dinner and that was so sweet!

You all know just want we need, we have had flowers and packages dropped off regularly and it always touches my heart to receive your presents and know that you are thinking of us and praying for us and walking beside us through this journey.  So thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  Even the anonymous gifts and cards are so sweet! I love the songs & text messages too. They always come at the best time right when God knows I need an uplifting word from Him is when I hit play.

Praying the next few days go much the same and not too rough. The plan is to rest and relax. Stay in doors and protect that immune system.  The family seems to be doing a little better day by day, but my dad did seem to catch the icky too. So... these germs need to find a new place to be. Maybe some cold temps will come and kill them off soon.

Just wanted to again say thank you for the amazing gifts you have showered on us...

Here is just one of the songs that blessed my heart this week.

Love and appreciate each one of you for walking besides us!
Have a great weekend!
