This has been a good week

This week has been a good week. Not many side effects to speak of, I've had some energy to keep up with life. The snow was nice to have a reason to be locked in the house together. And I've even been able to eat some normal foods without things tasting awful.  That was nice.  I had my first cup of coffee in over a month and it didn't taste completely awful, but it might have been the incredible company that I was enjoying it with.  I have been blessed with some pretty incredible people in my life! And getting to spend a little time catching up with one today was exactly what I needed. And I love that I was able to say, "what ya doing?" and she was free or at least stopped life and came to be with me. That is life right now, I just don't know what the day is going to be like so each moment of blessings like this is amazing. And I know she is just one or a bunch who would do that for me.

I think that has been one of the hardest things is the not knowing what each day is going to bring, not knowing what the future holds, not knowing what will happen. But this isn't a new thing, none of us really know. And it's amazing to me that it takes difficult things to happen for us to really realize that. We are only promised right now, and we must make the best of what we have right now. We have to look at the positive things and enjoy the moments.  In our house we have been talking a lot about that because things have to be flexible right now, and my kids like things to be "normal" or "like they have always been" and we definitely don't have that right now. Life changes, things change. And we (all of us) are learning to role with the changes.

Couple of prayer items:
- Aiden got the sickness - so health for him and the rest of us. We need this sickness to leave the house. It wasn't strep just a nasty virus.
- That we can handle the busyness of life: school, work, & house stuff. It's been hitting the kids and J hard the last week.
- We recognize rolling with the changes isn't a bad thing.

Have a great weekend! I'll update more next week.
