Chemo Eve #4

Here I sit on the eve of round 4, I've been chanting "half way through - YAY", I've decided that half way isn't as great sounding as I thought it would be. I find myself having to speak "you can do this!" and "one day at a time" and "God will give me strength when I have no strength" to get me to be okay with what is going on. I'm tired. This round I feel like it took much longer to feel kinda normal, it might be that I was so busy and pushing myself a little harder than I should be to try to get everything done before Christmas.  At this point, it is what it is, we will have to do with what we have and forget what we didn't get done. If you know me at all you know I struggle with this concept.

I know that God is giving me perseverance & strength because all I really want to do is be done. If you could continue to pray for us to persevere through this, to rely on His strength and to not worry about unknowns.  Also to focus on Joy, the kind that only comes from God and His incredible love for us.

We want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, I'll try to update again before then but sometimes I don't feel like I have much to say except here we are and we are making it one day at a time.

Love you all and thank you for the texts, gifts and love you have shown us. I love that we have people walking with us on this journey and that we aren't alone! It really makes all the difference to have your prayers & support.
