Prayers & Last Round
The dreaded sickness has hit the family yet again, it's been in the house about two weeks now. I have done so good and haven't gotten it all the other times but this time no such luck. It hit me yesterday... and hit hard. I have no voice, coughing lots and feel yucky. I had to go to the doctor today because Round 6 is Thursday and we had to make sure that it was nothing serious. So far it's just a virus. Praise God I can still have chemo on Thursday. We will have to watch me closely after the round to make sure it stays viral and doesn't turn into anything else. I'll be hydrating, staying close to home and washing my hands all the time! Please pray with us specifically that we get over this quickly, that God protects us with His protection and that this just up and leaves the house.
Round 6 - Last one!! I'm very excited that we have just one more round. Yay! Done with chemo!! It's very exciting to be able to say that and to know that they really believe the chemo has done its job. Everything they can externally tell the tumor is gone. We will have an MRI again in February to verify and make sure that it's really shrunk and responded well, but it's good to know that everything we have gone through seems to be successful. Big giant praise! And to know that I only have to be knocked down one more time, I only have to feel awful because of these drugs one more time... it's a great feeling and one that I'm thankful about.
After this round it's just healing before phase 2. I want to make sure I'm as strong as possible before surgery. I'm preparing and planning and praying.

This week I feel like we have been reminded so much about how precious and short life really is and it's important to remember we aren't promised tomorrow and I never want to take for granted the people in our lives. I want to to live in such a way that is intentional and honoring to those around me.
