Round 5
Today was round 5 of chemo. It was hard to be motivated to go in but all went well. I’m extremely tired and it was hard to stay awake during the session but it went good. It’s been a busy week because I try to get as much done as possible before I don’t feel well again so I don’t know if that is what is making me so tired but chemo does make you tired so it’s a toss up.
We have an appointment next week with the surgeon so just pray that goes well. I’m feeling very blessed with where we are at and how this journey is going so far. I know God has his hand in every step we are taking and for that I’m humbled and grateful. Thank you for praying with us and continuing to check in and text and love on us. We are so thankful for the people we have in our life.
Other than that we are doing well. This weekend will be tough and we are prepared for lots of rest and hanging out at home. I’m continuing to pray for no major side effects of the chemo, and just the ones we know will happen and that we have figured out ways to deal with. It’s hard, I’m not going to lie but it’s manageable and we take it one day at a time. That has been my biggest pray lately, “God, let me not borrow troubles, let me not worry about tomorrow.” Been thinking about Matt 6:34, which has always been J’s favorite verse.
Here is my view on Chemo days: Love that J comes with me (that is his feet) and can work by my chair.
