Voice... no voice
We knew going into this round that there could be the chance I wouldn't do great on the back side. Well, that has been the case. I have a cough, the cold is still there. And to top it all off... I lost my voice. I am a talker. I like talking and I do it a lot, it's part of the problem with too many opinions and thoughts. Some of you know this already and should be nice in your laughing. But seriously. No voice, or if I do by some miracle get sound it's deep, froggy and just all around bad. So... I'm whispering. I'm trying to save my voice. I'm drinking lots of tea and honey. Hard candies. Ice cream. Soft foods. But oh... I want to be able to talk. I am praying it comes back soon. People have been so sweet to me, they whisper with me. Some of said, "oh, just don't talk." and for some it's just a lot of "what... I didn't catch that?" I haven't been sleeping well either but the sad part is I really don't feel sick. I just sound bad. No fevers. Praise God. Just a cough at night and no voice.
All this to say, I'm hanging in there, getting stronger each day and praying for healing and for this family to be able to enjoy the month of February.
On a completely different note. We have a birthday in the house! So excited to celebrate Q as he will be a new 12 year old. My baby is 12. How is that even possible!?! We will enjoy the day celebrating him and the day we were so blessed to have him join our family. He rounds out our family perfectly.
