Week before

I had the procedure on Monday to remove the lymph nodes. Haven’t received the results yet but they said it could take up to a week.  I’m sore but nothing too bad. They are rushing the results so that we have them before surgery next week. Praying for negatives! Surgery is one week out and I’m feeling good about our decisions but anxious for the day. It’s a big deal and each day brings it a little closer to that reality.  I keep focusing on the facts... it’s up hill from there, recovery is hard but it’s recovery. I will be getting better and that is a good thing! I can do this. I have an incredible support team who is walking with me through each one of these battles and that is a bigger blessing than I could ever put into words.

So, just wanted to give you all an update. Continue to pray for our strength - emotional & physical, our health (we all need to stay healthy) there is no time or desire for colds in the house. And our preparations - that we can use our time wisely each day. I think that was been the biggest struggle for me is the feeling of time slipping by and my to do list (desire list) growing longer.
