Got to go HOME!!!

I spent last night back at my house! What an amazing feeling! They gave me the option to spend one more night in the hospital or go home, and I was really to get out. And the doctor agreed!! It is loud in the hospital, and lonely. My room was by the exit to the hallway and it's a locked unit so every time anyone left the unit I heard the code and then the opening and slamming of the doors, then I was by the medicine room, so code entry there and door open/close. I also had the ice maker right outside. Let's just say it was a hoping hallway all the time as the Covid unit is busy and when I was there they only had one bed available. It's still a very active and serious virus. I'm thankful my case isn't serious just moderate and responding to treatment. I was reminded over and over of the power of prayer and the healing power of Jesus. I really felt His presence so many times during my stay. And I'm thankful for that and for my earbuds, Netflix, and Christian music!

My oxygen is stable, my fever is stable and I've had antivirus meds. I'm home with more meds. I've had antibiotics too. I've been checked and rechecked. I'm doing very well, they were a little shocked how well I was doing considering how I came in. But like I said God is good!

Family is all at different stages. Kids all seem to be doing well for the most part! No fevers, symptoms all improving, right now it seems like they have colds or allergies. J ebbs and flows: no fever, nasty cough still, no body aches, headache off and one, exhaustion all the time, but I think he is improving too.

Thank you again for praying and standing with us. It was scary, not something I'd like to repeat and now we just continue to pray for all of this to get better and for us to put this whole process behind us.  I'm over Covid.
